Delphine Rama

This series of artworks attempt to represent the vibrational movements of the body when it is exposed to high frequencies or the complete absence of sound. The paintings visually translate physical and mental symptoms that become identical in these two extreme frequency levels. The artist explores the concept of dissonance in human behaviour.

BAKED VS. HAS J

The two pieces facing each other are by graffiti writers BAKED and HAS J.   Both are Wildstyle graffiti, a complex form of lettering where the artist abstracts his alias.  Pushing the research and development of the lettering - one play with the form of the alphabets.

BAKED has expressed his letters in a minimalistic way with elements of 3D whilst HAS J captures body movements within his letterings, showing his distinctive characters whom he also calls “SimpleProblemBeings”

KIAT

Featuring a hybrid technique of digital and analogue mediums—inspired by the same approach with which the artist create his music.

Kiat’s approach to art encompasses a process-based methodology where his personal application of the 'resampling’ technique and utilisation of both the analogue and digital mediums become structural throughways into his final compositions. Raw samples of colour and texture typically serve as the creative impetus of his work followed by a continual artistic recalibration and reworking of these elements as the work develops.
